Bottom Pouring Sets are mainly used for ingot casting in steel industry. It is a completecombination set of runner bricks and special hollow shapes for bottom pouring molten metal. These shapes are processed from refractory grog and fire clays. The different fractions of these raw materials are mixed and pugged for obtaining homogeneous mix. The mixture is pressed in high capacity friction screw power presses and hydraulic presses for obtaining desired collar, shape and accurate dimensions and, then fired in pusher type continuous tunnel kiln at high temperatures. All sizes are available as per bottom plate size.
